After countless setbacks and delays, progress is finally happening!
Our initial plan of beginning out of our garage was foiled due to a lack of available power. Replacing existing powerlines with increased service was cost prohibitive due to hardware and excavation costs, as well as distance from transformer.
Instead, we decided to expedite our plans and work on getting the shop built, adding in a new (more capable) line of service.
Due to our location, power supply has still been questionable. That said, we finally have confirmation from our local power company that the grid will be able to support our endeavor!
Other updates of note:
A builder has been signed, and building is scheduled for early autumn 2025.
Site Prep in progress.
Shoutouts:
A huge “Thank you!” to Gary Biesinger of Beez Electric for his help with electrical planning!
Also, to my past (and future) customers and colleagues that have kept in contact for progress reports throughout all this, thank you for your patience! I am very much looking forward to continuing our work together.
